Everywhere they go, the duo of Aki and Pawpaw hold people spellbound. And so it was when they arrived last Friday at the farewell dinner organised in honour of the out-going governor of Akwa Ibom State, Governor Obong Victor Attah.

The duo sauntered in around 9pm, in company of other artistes like Keppy Ekpeyong, Liz Benson, Bimbo Akintola and Desmond Eliot, causing a great stir as dignitaries present struggled to catch a glimpse of them.

Gauging the mood of the audience, Gbenga Adeyinka, the M.C. who was 'praying to grow tall like them' had to specially invite them to the stage to salute the people present, after which they proceeded to the high table where Governor Attah was seated for a handshake.

The tempo of the event changed when Pastor Goody Goody mounted the stage. Governor Attah and his wife, Allison, could not resist the temptation of digging it out to the admiration of those present.
