On Friday,November 11,2011 the Best of Nollywood Award held at Lagoon Restaurant,Victoria Island Lagos State.

The event that was well attended by top movie practitioners was met with various impediments as the organizers not only appeared confused but also unable to coordinate their affairs properly to ensure that the venue will start bubbling before arrival of their guests.

At 5pm when the ceremony was to start,the hall was yet to be decorated,sound system was not hired or fixed and from 6pm when the guests have started trooping in,theorganizers were still very busy laying red carpets and fixing banners.

At 7pm,when it has become obvious that all their invited guests were about to saturate the venue,the CEO of BON quickly pleaded for a smaller hall within the compound,where his guests were directed to go and wait while they struggled to put themselves together.

Till 9pm,all the top actors,actresses and others who graced the occasion were still cooling-off inside the small hall that had no air conditioner or any source of air.

At a point,people who could not continue waiting left the venue for other activities,and returned to still meet the event steaming fresh.

However,the award ceremony was very successful and was graced by various showbiz personalities such As,Femi Adebayo,Oby Edozie,Susan Peters,Queen Nwokoye,Halima Abubakar,Toyin Aimaku,Moyo Lawal,Uche Jombo,Faithia Balogun and many others.
