Few weeks back,the news of how actress Adaora Ukoh shaved off her hair for a movie role that was said to be worth N2 million to her filtered the air.Her action was considered a sacrifice and demonstration of her passion for her acting career,and it was applauded by movie lovers and fans of Nollywood,as they concluded that no amount of money was worth a babe shaving off her hair completely.While this was brewing,inside sources revealed to us that the bold and beautiful actress was economical with the truth over the film and amount she collected as fees.
According to the source,Adaora actually contributed to the making of the film entitled Thy Kingdom Come,as she scripted the film within the space of two years.
While writing the film,Adora was said to have informed the producer that she will handle the lead role perfectly,and should be given the opportunity to do it as a compensation for her work.
As gathered,it was an agreement between the pretty and hardworking actress and the movie producer to allow her to do justice to the lead role as the creator.
The source continue that Thy Kingdom Come is a pet project between this actress and executive producer.So as an insider on the job,she was said not to have collected any payment for the job that indirectly belongs to her.
