These are not the best emotional times for a number of love-struck ladies who had fallen for the charms and panache of one of Nollywood leading actors whom they thought they had scored for life. There are broken hearts, bruised emotions and teary eyes that just won't dry up.

According to our sources, this handsome, tall dark and broad shouldered Nollywood hunk, spent weeks during the summer in one of the suburbs of Maryland – USA, and soon words got out that he was in town. Women, who form the bulk of the actors fan base, started making regular visits to his hotel room, and he didn't disappoint any of his female fans. “He was busy most days, attending to one lady or the other.

The thing these women did not realize was that the actor who is notorious for being a lades' man, had no interest in them outside of the immediate physical gratification he was receiving from them. Unfortunately, almost all the love-struck ladies' had started developing deep interest and had invested their time and emotions on him.”

One case our source added “was verydisheartening. The young woman had met the actor at a party, and had been thoroughly smitten by him, and went about bragging to her friends that she has finally scored the actor. She told her friends the actor had promised to be serous with her. She quickly went and dumped her regular boyfriend who had promised to marry her, and whom the girl's parents already had known and given their stamp of approval. All entreaties to the love-smitten lady to thread carefully were met with a strong rebuff. She had met the man of her dreams and nothing – including her regular boyfriend would stand in her way.

“Our source continued “for more than one week, the actor and this very gorgeous medical student were inseparable. She practically moved into his hotel room and would go home briefly to see her parents and would soon return to be with the actor. She was convinced the actor was hers! Only if she had known she was just one of the actors' conquests, she wouldn't be where she is now. She had gone to the Eastern born actor's hotel room on that fateful Friday night, and met a 'Do not Disturb' sign hung on the door. She had knocked on the door, and received no response. She called the actor's number, he didn't pick up. Exasperated, she went to the lobby and waited – all along devastated and lost in thoughts as to what was happening. At about 12 midnight, the actor – another gorgeous lady in his arms sauntered to the lobby and in a scene that looked straight out of a Nollywood movie – the actor's female companion happened to be a good friend of the young medical student.”

Our sources added that “she had to be restrained by the security from making a big scene and thereby jeopardizing her future. Devastated, she ran home, crying and wishing she had listened to all who had cautioned her against investing her hopes in the notorious Nollywood Casanova.

The actor has since gone back to Nigeria while the wound he inflicted on star-struck ladies continue to fester. Our source added that the young woman became suicidal after realizing that she had lost her regular boyfriend for a man whose feeling towards her was fleeting at best, and that she was nothing to him but a bird of passage. She is “recovering well and has learned her lessons.” This is not the first time this handsome actor has been associated with so many women, whose hearts he later broken. He is said to have told friends that he “never forced anyone to be intimate with him” and that he also has never “promised anyone a long lasting relationship. They know what they got into, because I always tell them I am not interested in a long lasting relationship, and they always accept that condition. I am sorry if they developed feelings for me, but my stand has always been clear” the actor was said to have confided to our source.
