WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE? BIMBO AKINTOLA OR KEPPY EKPEYONG
FORMER soccer maestro, Segun Odegbami and Reuben Abati of The Guardian will be among celebrities to feature today, Good Friday, on the television game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire to be screened at 7.30 p.m. on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) network, Channels Television, Silverbird and MITV, Lagos
Among other celebrities who will attempt to win the N10 million Grand Prize are Joke Silva, Segun Arinze, Patrick Doyle, Chika Okpala of New Masquerade, an executive director of First Bank, Bola Adesola and Chief Executive, Virgin Outdoor Media, Kunle Hamilton.
Other top Nollywood actors like Bimbo Akintola, Keppy Ekpeyong and the sensational pop twin, P-Square are also expected to gun for the Grand Prize.
The amounts won are to be donated to various charities of the celebrities' choice.
Chief Marketing and Customer Relations Officer of MTN Nigeria, Mr. Bola Akingbade, said the reason for MTN's total support for the show is hinged on its ability to create positive value for the society.
"The Special Celebrity Edition is aimed at adding more spice and value to the popular programme besides contributing meaningfully to the larger society," he said.
Abati lauded the idea, saying: "Getting people to contest for N10 million and donating the proceeds to charity is something that is worthy of note."
