Some months back, sexy actress Mercy Johnson announced her wedding date and also gave her teeming fans a shocker that she will be quitting the acting world immediately after her marriage. Many seem to be baffles about her decision, considering the fact that the same profession brought her money, fame and enormous encomium.

We've witnessed some artistes quitting acting profession in time past as soon as they got married'I.e. (Sandra Achums,Victoria Inyama,Chinyere Nwabueze,Caroline Ekanem,Opeyemi Ayeola,Regina Askia among others.

But the big question is, why do the just married Nollywood artistes allow their spouse to forbid them from acting considering the fact that is the same profession they were into before they got married?

Could it be that their hubby are scared of competition from admirers?

Or probably their hubby believes the only way they could be control and curtail of their excesses is by quitting the make belief world?

What exactly could be the possible reasons?
