By omobello

The cover headline of the latest issue of Ovation Magazine reads 'NIKE OSHINOWO-SOLEYE SPEAKS FRANKLY ON MARRIAGE, MOTHERHOOD AND NEW PROJECT'

The issue talks about Nike Oshinowo the brand that is synonymous with pedigree, beauty, exquisite style and quintessential appeal. It goes on about how the woman behind the brand evokes the brand essence in every shape and form. Chief Adenike Oshinowo- Soleye now 45 years old continues to hold Nigeria spellbound with her remarkable glamour and incredible poise.

Over 20 years ago Chief Oshinowo- Soleye won the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria Crown in 1990 after studying Politics at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom.

Remarkably, many years after, her beauty continues to defy the laws of nature. Not a single wrinkle or flaw to her face or skin. Like vintage wine, she gets better with age and at her age not a lot of women can boast of her gorgeous UK size 8 body; but then again, not a lot of women can boast of her many achievements to date.

Ovation features 14 shots of Chief Oshinowo-Soleye- The cover photo features a glamorous black one-shoulder embellished Dusk dress from Duchess Boutique in Lagos while other looks include a liquid gold metallic dress cinched at the waist with a wide belt and paired with Christian Louboutin heels, two flowing print dresses from Nigerian designer Ituen Basi, the Yoruba traditional attire of lace Buba and Iro with Ankara print gele and a 70's style trousers made from Ankara print and worn with a matching cropped top also from ItuenBasi.

The editorial also features a single shot with Chief Oshinowo-Soleye's present protégé the current Miss Nigeria 19 Years 0ld Damilola Agbajo. We then see a single shot of Miss Agbajo looking gorgeous and graceful in a white and green flowing tiered skirt.

The entire editorial was shot by renowned photographer Jide Alakija and styled by Bola Obileye.

As you may know, Dele Momodu the publisher of Ovation magazine is a seasoned journalist started the magazine in 1996.“The magazine is 100 percent truly African, fueled by the African spirit of doggedness, and determination, but driven by first-rate, world-class standards”. The magazine has made its mark in its coverage of celebrity Stories and events.
