LIST OF SHOWBIZ STARS THAT SMILED TO BANK AFTER THE 2011 ELECTIONS

D'banj, real names Dapo Oyebanjo, played a major role in the last general elections, likewise Oruka crooner, Sunny Nneji. These two artistes led others in the scramble for millions from the ruling PDP. Also, K-1 de Ultimate got enough from his party, the ACN. The list seems inexhaustible. Below are some of Nigerian music artistes who smiled to banks after the 2011 elections.

SAHEED OSUPA
A literary singer, King Saheed Osupa, was also in the studio, cooked some good songs that are dedicated to Governor Raji Fashola of Lagos State. He also did some promotion songs to support the immediate past Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala of Oyo State.

D'BANJ
Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D'banj, was leading in the campaign for support for President Goodluck Jonathan's bid for the presidency. He, with his main man, Don Jazzy, had two Bentley Cars worth N70million to show for it!

K-1 de Ultimate
King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal has been there before others not just as a musician but as a loyal party man in ACN. He has always been heavily remunerated for his loyalty.

FUNKE AKINDELE
Sizzling Yoruba actress, Funke Akindele, featured in a programme organized by ACN at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos. She also got a handsome reward for it.

9ICE
Abolore Adegbola Akande, the Gongo Aso crooner popularly called “9ice”, did a song for Governor Fashola of Lagos State in support of his second term bid. People say the proceeds of that venture fetched him too his dream Bentley car.

TUFACE
Innocent Idibia popularly called was reported to have collected millions of naira after the songs he did for Governor Fashola in a concert. Tuface is said to be one of the governor's favourites.

SAINT OBI
Saint Obi, real names, Obinna Nwafor is a Nigerian actor, producer and director. During the campaign for politicians, Obi collaborated with some celebrity artistes to produce a campaign communicating the achievements of President Goodluck Jonathan and what he would do as elected president.

MADAM KOFO
Widely known for her unique style of carving head gear, Madam Kofo, an Ambassador of Globacom, also contributed so much in promoting Governor Fashola's reelection bid.

MOCHEDDAH
The best young female rap artiste, “Mocheddah” was among artistes that campaigned for the reelection of Governor Fashola at a concert held at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos. He reportedly got N2million from the exercise.

PASUMA
Wasiu Alabi Pasuma also had a fair share in the ACN largesse. The popular Fuji artiste did a song for Governor Fashola and Gov. Alao-Akala, who unfortunately didn't make it to office again in Oyo State.

KSA
King of world beats, Sunny Ade, was not left out of the Mr. President's campaign throw-down. He was on the bandstand when President Jonathan flagged off his campaign in Lagos.

SUNNY NNEJI
The Cross-River born artiste has been seen more in politics than music these days. He first did a jingle for President Goodluck Jonathan. In all, he reportedly had N5million to show for it.

ENIOLA BADMUS
Popularly called Wule Bembe in movies for her beefy nature, Eniola Badmus also reportedly got over a million naira for her efforts at ACN campaigns.

KEFEE
Kefee was not left out in the fun. Kefee sang a song with Sammy Okposo which relayed a message telling people to vote in President Jonathan. Kefee recently bought a Murano Jeep which has been speculated to be from the campaign songs.
