We only just got back from covering the maiden edition of what we hope would become one of the major fashion reference point in the near future-The AFRICA FASHION WEEK LONDON 2011,the beautiful event that was well publicised all over the UK, was at the very imposing Gibson Hall at Bishopsgate in London, and to tell you all the truth, it was 2 days of what we would tag-Africa's got talent. What many need is the requisite exposure, at the end of the 2 days extravaganza, many went away awestruck and would probably look at Africa in a new way, as a place filled with very many talented people.
