AY Live Holds On Workers Day

Fans of the very popular stand-up comic AY will be glad to know that the yearly comedy and music concert 'AY Live' will be coming up on Sunday, May 1, 2011.

AY, the ever creative and multiple award-winning comedian has been known over the years to host grand comedy concerts with his out of the world theatrics and all-star line-up. And the young man, who worked as Ali Baba's personal assistant for years, before breaking out to stand alone, plans to up the ante with this year's edition.

This year's edition which has been tagged 'Another Invasion', brings a twist with it as it will also center around workers who will be enjoying the Workers' Day holiday knowing fully well that the next day will also be a holiday.

Now apart from headliner AY, other notable stand-up acts who will grace the show include I Go Dye, Gordons, Seyi Law, Elenu,Helen Paul, Ushbebe, Princess, D Don, Aki & Pawpaw, and the AY Open Mic winners. Music performances from 2face, D'Prince, Yemi Sax, 9ice, M.I, Banky W, Wizkid, Kas, YQ, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince and Flavour will add more spice and electricity to the atmosphere.

Ghanaians Majid Michel and Nadia Buari are also expected to make special appearances

And on the wheels of steel will be the veteran DJ Jimmy JATT

The concert is scheduled to hold at the world-class 6,000 capacity venue of Eko Hotel and Suites
