ACCRA GHANA- Versatile Actor, John Dumelo will appear alongside Hollywood Actress Nia Long in the upcoming movie "Ties that Bind". The Actor expressed that he was excited about his role and describes his Character as "Cool and Calm". In the Movie, He plays the role of a Husband who is unfortunate to be married to a very difficult wife, but stays determined to make his marriage work.

On the inclusion of America's top actress, Nia Long to the Cast lineup, he had this to say" Nia Long has had a very succesful career in Hollywood. I admire her work and, I look forward to a great working relationship with her on set. I am also particularly happy working with Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and, Ama .K. Abebrese who are both recognized as talented Actresses here in Africa"

He remarked that, the collaboration of the African Movie Industry and Hollywood for this Project was the best of both worlds and, he remains optimistic that "Ties that Bind" would turn out to become one of the best movies of all times.

Written and Directed by the renowned Leila Djansi, who was recently recognized by the British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA), "Ties that Bind" revolve around the stories of three women, Adobea, Buki and Theresa. They come from different walks of life but are bound together by a similar agony; the loss of a child. As Destiny unites them in a small village in Kroboland, the women journey together to redemption, love, life and forgiveness as they renovate a dilapidated clinic for the villagers.
