‎Why I Went On Nollywood Hiatus - Nkechi Blessing

Popular Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing, has revealed the reason behind her hiatus from the movie industry.

‎ ‎The actress, who recently made an appearance in a recent episode of Curiosity Made Me Ask hosted by content creator, Bae U Barbie, explained that her decision to take a break from Nollywood was influenced by an anonymous person, who placed her on ₦1 million weekly salary.

‎ ‎According to her, the person made sure to know how much she was earning from acting, and doubled it in order for her to leave it during that moment.

‎ ‎She said: ‎“Someone anonymously put me on a ₦1 million weekly salary because I wasn’t getting paid enough for movie roles — that’s why I took a break from acting. I can’t shoot a movie and I might not even make up to ₦1 million profit from it."
