Share your best practical advice
If you want to win a race, never mind opposition; just be focused.

At age five, what did you want to be when you grow up? What of when you were 10, did you still believe you could do it? When you were 21, did you lose hope or continue with your dream?
At age five, you can never tell what you want to be. At age 10, I was still young to be overambitious. At age 21, I believed que sera sera (what would be would be).

Why are you celebrating 15 years and not 20 or 25?
First, in all things, let us always give thanks to Allah. For a succesful year or decade or a score, we should give God the glory. I sing praises to God in thanksgiving for the journey so far. I did not plan to celebrate at all this year but something happened. I was invited to a burial reception and it was held in one of the then renowned secondary schools. All the classrooms, infastructure, amenities were dilapidated. I said to myself, “how can students learn under this environment?” It is the same story all over Nigeria. I know it was not like this in our days. The government is doing its best but obviously it is not enough. Hence our suggestion of a public-private sector partnership.

What should we expect at the event?
The event is being put together by Heartlink Events run by my friend and sister, Kemi Otegbade. There will be entertainment, performances, old skool disco, documentary and networking. Some schools will be represented and there will be Science and Literature books donation.

Why Oriental Hotel? Rumour has it that the place is expensive.
Well, we are expecting quality guests and we want them to feel at home and comfortable and also at the same time encourage them to identify with our project. It has not been easy but we are determined.

Why is there a colour code for such a serious project?
Take it or leave it, there are going to be many celebrities and paparazzi in attendance. Colour code will add glamour and glitz to the event even as serious as the event is. It will make the pictures heavenly.
