Popular rap music act, Stephen Ugochukwu, popularly known as Ruggedman, escaped death at about 11.30 last night when his car ran into a stationary Central Bank luxury bus with registration number AX 165 LSD on Apongbon bridge. Ruggedman sustained serious injuries on his left arm and legs while his BMW car with registration number BW 202 LND was badly damaged.

Speaking with P.M.News this morning, Ruggedman, who has been responding to treatment. He said he was coming from a meeting on Victoria Island when the incident happened.

According to him, the Central Bank's bus was parked at the edge of the Apongbon bridge without any 'C' Caution' to alert other motorists of the presence of a vehicle there. “The bus was carelessly parked, blocking almost half of the road. It was only God that saved me because it was the driver's side where I was seating that got trapped under the bus,” Ruggedman said.

He, therefore, said the case has been reported to the police. He also told P.M.News he is getting better and that his condition has stabilised. Ruggedman was at the Lion Building Police Headquarters to tow his vehicle to the LASTMA office for it to be released for repairs.
