Recuperating grandlord of fuji music, Dr Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, who recently jetted out to Germany, following the dislocation of his left rib, is fully back on his feet. The music icon was reported to have dislocated his left rib, while undergoing some walking exercises, just after returning from a surgical operation in India. The ill-health, which was an upshot of overweight, prompted his going from one hospital to another.

At the historic quick recovery prayer session, organised by the Oyo chapter of the Entertainment Writers' Association of Nigeria (EWAN), held last Tuesday, Elder Dayo Oduyemi, media and Public Relations Consultant to Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister Organisation, announced that the surgical operation was successfully carried out and Barrister, who used to weigh 145kg, has dropped drastically to 75kg. He, however, concluded that the grandlord of fuji music may return home before the end of the month.

The Oyo chapter of EWAN, took it upon itself, to ensure a divine intervention and quick recovery for the veteran juju musician, Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister.

"We have done this, to ensure his quick recovery and to express our love for him and the entertainment industry at large," David Ajiboye, chairman of the association said.
