Omoni Oboli who said she was not happy for being snubbed by organizers of Africa's biggest award seems to have gotten her deserved honour in far away Canada where she starred alongside Sam Sarpong, an Hollywood actor as lead act.

Omoni who recently returned to Nigeria few days ago was the only Nigerian on set of the movie shot by another Nigerian, Lonzo Nzekwe . She said the movie was one of the biggest events in her career.

The movie, Anchor Baby, is the story of Paul (Sam Sarpong) and Joyce (Omoni Oboli), a married couple from Nigeria living in the United States as illegal immigrants. Joyce is five months pregnant. The couple intends to have their baby in the US , before returning to their country. This will guarantee them automatic US citizenship but Paul is later deported and that was where the real drama begins.
