Nigerians Raise N13.1 Million For Ailing Actress Cynthia Anijekwu In Hours – Destiny Etiko
Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has provided an update on the fundraising effort for her colleague Cynthia Nkachukwu Anijekwu, who is battling cancer.
Recall that Destiny had earlier made a heartfelt appeal on behalf of the ailing actress, sharing a video where Cynthia opened up about her painful journey with the illness and pleaded for financial assistance to fund her treatment.
In a recent update, Destiny revealed that Nigerians had contributed N13.1 million out of the N20 million target within hours of the appeal.
The Asabawood star expressed her gratitude and surprise at the massive outpouring of love, noting that the actress is overwhelmed with joy and in shock over the donations. Destiny thanked her followers and praised God for the support.
She said:

It's a lot, and she is overwhelmed with joy.
She is super grateful and in shock.

Honestly, I never expected this massive love y'all showered on her.
