Peller Claps Back At Ycee Over 'Peller Culture' Comment
Nigerian streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has responded to rapper Ycee's recent comments about the decline in education, where Ycee coined the term "Peller culture."
In a recent post on social media, Peller fired back at the rapper, accusing him of being an illiterate for mentioning his name.
Peller questioned why Ycee, as an elderly person, would resort to name-dropping instead of making his point without targeting anyone. He referred to the "olodo uprising" and stated that Ycee himself is an illiterate because a sensible elderly person should be able to express his views without mentioning anyone's name.
The exchange follows Ycee's recent interview on the Afropolitan podcast, where he expressed concern over what he perceives as a decline in the value placed on education in Nigeria. Ycee had noted that the "Yahoo culture" has now been replaced by what he termed a "Peller culture" and described the "Olodo" uprising as alarming.
Peller wrote:
"The same olodo uprising wey una dey use promote una noise, very anyhow OG. If you're an elderly person, respect yourself. Must you mention names? You yourself are an illiterate because, as an elderly man with sense, you should be able to make your point without mentioning anyone's name."
