Niyi Akinmolayan Highlights Harsh Realities Of Filmmaking In Nollywood
Renowned Nigerian filmmaker and director Niyi Akinmolayan has taken to social media to highlight the difficult realities of making films in Nollywood.
In an hilarious post on his Instagram page, he listed the many parties a filmmaker must beg, including investors, distributors, cinemas, streamers, the audience, family members, and even a romantic partner, in order to promote a movie.
Akinmolayan further appealed directly to the public to support Nollywood filmmakers, urging them not to focus on their bad character.
He wrote:
