"Foolish Thinking" – Pastor Dolapo Lawal Lambasts Those Who Sell Property For Care Jobs Abroad
Nigerian clergyman and the lead pastor of Zoe Household Global, Dolapo Lawal, has expressed his disdain with the growing trend of individuals selling their possession to settle for something less abroad.
In an heartfelt sermon, he tagged the act as "covetousness," labelling it further as unwise for individuals to sell their property for a care job in America.
According to him, many have been fooled by the pictures uploaded on social media, noting how it has misled several individuals, who take the risk to go abroad and end up being stranded based on peer pressure.
Pastor Dolapo Lawal added that such act is not advisable, as those who relocated to the country suffer untold hardship before coming back to the country.
He said:
“It is covetousness that will make somebody sell their property in Nigeria and go to do a care job in America. Foolish thinking!."
“Because you are seeing people in the UK taking pictures, you think they are okay? Now you go there, you are stranded there, and you cannot come back because of shame. Meanwhile, you are coveting that life. They will save money for 10 months to come and spend here.”
