Nigerian singer Akande Abolore Adegbola, professionally known as 9ice, has opened up about his religion and mode of worship.

Speaking in a viral interview with Hip TV, the 'Gongo Aso' crooner revealed that he has been practicing the traditional religion for over 18 years.

He further threw shots at Muslims and Christians, shading Muslims for going to Mecca to lick rock in the name of Kabba, maintaining that despite both religions' mode of worship, Nigeria is still in problems.

9ice also compared the religious worship in Nigeria to other developed countries, stating that there is a glaring difference.

"I have been a bablawo for more than 18 years, but I hid it.

You’ll leave Nigeria and go to Mecca to go and lick rock all in the name of Kabba. Ever since you’ve been calling on Allah and Jesus, this country hasn’t gotten any better. If you go to London, nobody goes to church there."
