Nollywood actor Ibrahim Yekinni, popularly known as Itele, has penned a word of encouragement to his fans, opening up on his background.

The actor who recently acquired his second house in Lagos, a multimillion-naira house in Lekki, Lagos, disclosed that he was born in Agbado crossing.

He noted how he was born without a rich background, where no shortcut could be made, but one could only possess dreams bigger than their present environment.

Reminiscing on his journey and comparing it to his present, Itele described himself as a living proof that the beginning does not justify the end, urging his fans to stay focused and not lose hope.

He wrote:
“That boy from Agbado Crossing…..
No silver spoon, no shortcuts—just dreams bigger than his environment.

Today, the same boy is living proof that where you start doesn’t define where you’ll end up.
