French-Nigerian singer Bukola Elemide popularly known as Asa, has announced the death of her mother.

Asa made the sad news known in a recent Instagram post, sharing a photo of herself with her deceased mother.

According to the singer, her mother gave up the ghost after battling with brain tumour.

She wrote:
“A sudden brain tumor came without warning and took you too soon. You were generous. The kindest soul."

Taking to her comment section, many celebrities sent their condolence messages to the actress following her loss.
