"Make This Rubbish Make Sense" — Peruzzi Slams X User Over Crediting Him For Davido's Musical Success

By Oluwarantimi Oludase

Nigerian singer and songwriter Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi, has slammed an X user for attributing Davido's music achievements to him.

On the popular microblogging platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), the troll claimed that without Peruzzi in Davido's journey, the singer would not have succeeded in the music industry. He claimed that the 30BG boss would have dwindled without the help of a songwriter.

Dharblue wrote:
"To be honest, if Peruzzi was not part of Davido’s journey, I’m not sure Davido would have become this big, or even stayed consistent in the industry.

He doesn’t look like someone who would have gone this far in the industry without a songwriter."

Quoting the tweet, Peruzzi attributed the troll's tweet to merely chasing "clicks & likes," wondering when such conversations would stop coming up.

Reminiscing on his journey, the 'Majesty' crooner recounted how Davido brought him up from nothing to success. He noted how the singer was already a star before signing him.

He wrote:
"Anything For Clicks & Likes, But Really I Wonder When Yall Gon Put An End To Bullshit Talks Like This.

You Know Me & This Man Brothers, You Saw Him Help Me From Nothing To This, So What Tf You Saying This For??? When Did I Get Signed??? Person Get 1 Million Hits, Na The 1 Or 2 Wey I Do Make Am Big.

Make This Rubbish Make Sense."
Peruzzi is well-known for his songwriting prowess since he joined the Davido's record label 'DMW' in November 2017.

The Afropop star is credited with writing or co-writing several major hits of Davido including "FIA" amongst other songs.
