Filmmaker Uduak Isong Lauds Effort Of Nollywood Practicioners, Hints At Early Retirement
Nollywood filmmaker, Uduak Isong, has showered praises on those involved in the Nigerian movie industry.
The veteran scriptwriter on her Instagram page made the shout out, while sharing an update on her first appearance on a movie set in over a year.
She appreciated everyone putting in efforts in Nollywood, crediting them for holding the industry and making it grow.
Uduak Isong further noted the stress that comes with being on a movie set, suggesting that she is considering retiring soon.
She wrote:
"Major shout out to all the people working tirelessly in Nollywood. You're the reason we still have an industry. First time I'm on set in over a year and my white hair has increased in just a few days. I think the time for the retirement maybe sooner than later.
Uduak Isong is a renowned scriptwriter and movie producer, and an entrepreneur, who is behind several groundbreaking movies, such as Falling, Selina, Okon Lagos, Lost in London, and Desperate Housegirls.
