Nigerian actor and comedian, Charles Okocha, has reacted to a post on Facebook, suggesting that he has proposed to embattled Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.

Sharing a screenshot of the Facebook post on his Instagram page, the post stated that Charles Okocha had proposed to Regina Daniels, some months after her separation from Senator Ned Nwoko.

"LUCKY REGINA DANIELS, FEW MONTHS AFTER SEPARATION FROM HUSBAND PA NED NWOKO ACTOR CHARLES OKOCHA PROPOSES MARRIAGE TO HER.

THIS IS REALLY PHENOMENAL!!

I only pray the Marriage lasts."

Clearing the air in a a humorous post, Charles Okocha appealed to bloggers on Facebook.

"Abegooooooo fb ppl."

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, were involved in a messy online battle in November 2025. The ruckus began after a video surfaced of the actress accusing Senator Ned Nwoko of domestic abuse and maltreatment, claiming that she is being treated anyhow in his house. Following these accusations were a series of claims against Ned.

In response to the accusations made against him, Ned, in a post via his social media pages, accused Regina of drugs and substance abuse, attributing her claims against him to be the effects of refusing to go for rehabilitation despite doing his best to make sure she went for it.
