"99 Percent Of Nigerian Pastors Are Useless" - Charly Boy Asserts
Veteran Nigerian singer, Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has slammed Nigerian pastors for failing to address issues affecting the masses.
The maverick singer expressed his disdain during a recent episode of the KAA Truths Podcast. According to him, a great number of Nigerian pastors are running their church solely for profit making.
He expressed his dissatisfaction at their inability to speak against the issues affecting the public.
He further singled out himself, stating that although he resides in Nigeria, he is distinct from them, and behaves differently from other Nigerians.
He said:
"All the pastors I know of in Nigeria, 99 per cent of them are useless. It is just a business that they are running.
“I may live in Nigeria but Nigeria does not live in me. I don’t believe like you. I don’t want to think like you people. I’m not in the same class with you people. I come from a different space and time."
