Popular Nigerian gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey, has issued a strong warning to men engaging in extramarital affairs, emphasizing that this year would see them experience public disgrace over the act.

The powerful worshipper issued the stern warning while addressing a congregation in a now-viral video. Bassey addressed married men who deceive young girls, and sleep with them, stating that if they engage in such acts this year, they will experience public ridicule.

"If you’re a married man and you go about deceiving young girls, leading them on. Some even go as far as sleeping with them,”

“I place a demand on the grace of God upon my life. If you try it this year, you won’t survive. Your shame will not be forgotten. It will be on social media."

Not done, he stressed that any married who lies about his marital status in order to engage in sexual activities with other women will not leave the venue of such activity in peace, but rather be exposed publicly.

"If you take a woman to a hotel, you lie; meanwhile, if you are married, you will not come out of that hotel. If you like, take what I’m saying jokingly."
