"Rest Well, My Woman" - Biola Bayo Pens Farewell Note To Allwell Ademola Following Service Of Songs
Popular Nollywood actress, Biola Bayo, has penned a farewell message to her colleague and best friend, Allwell Ademola. The Yoruba actress, who has been left emotional following the death of Allwell Ademola in December, took to her Instagram page to pay her last respect.
Biola Bayo stated that her friend has finally gone to sing with the angels. Affirming her love for her, she promised that the late actress would forever remain in her heart, urging her to rest well.
She wrote:
"ENIOBANKE, that’s it? That’s it!
Aunty Yetunde has gone to sing with the angels.
You’ll forever remain in my heart
Rest well, my woman."
The Nigerian Voice reported that the Nollywood industry, particularly the Yoruba movie industry, was thrown into mourning over the death of actress Princess Allwell Ademola, who was announced to have suffered a heart attack which led to her death at the age of 43 on Saturday , December 27, 2025. Many actors and actresses took to their respective social media pages to express their shock at her sudden demise.
Following the official burial details announced by her family,
the late Allwell Ademola's service of songs was held on Thursday, January 8, and was well-attended by several Nollywood stars, including Wumi Toriola, Iyabo Ojo, Odunlade Adekola, Rotimi Salami, amongst others.
