"It Felt Like A Cruel Dream Until The Weight Of Yesterday Made It Clear" - Faithia Williams Pens Tribute, Following Service Of Songs Of Late Allwell Ademola
Nollywood actress, Faithia Williams, has penned a heartfelt tribute to her late colleague, Allwell Ademola, following the service of songs held in her memory.
Recall that the late Allwell Ademola's service of songs was held on Thursday, January 8, and was well-attended by several Nollywood stars, including Wumi Toriola, Iyabo Ojo, Odunlade Adekola, Rotimi Salami, amongst others.
Sharing a video of herself on her Instagram page, Faithia Williams revealed that the service of songs for the late actress was a day where heavy silence hung in the air, and was filled with reflection.
According to her, the reality of the actress' absence was finally confirmed during the wake keep. She described it as "a cruel dream," which became a reality with the weight of yesterday.
Faithia Williams further prayed for the soul of the departed, affirming that she will be missed.
She wrote:
"Juma'at Mubarak to all my Muslim friends. May we witness many more.
Yesterday, a heavy silence hung in the air, a day etched with reflection. The reality of Allwell Ademola's absence settled upon us during the wake keep and service of song.
It felt like a cruel dream until the weight of yesterday made it clear. The echoes of her laughter, the warmth of her presence all now memories.
Allwell, you are profoundly missed. May you find eternal peace until we meet again."
Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported that the Nollywood industry, particularly the Yoruba movie industry, was thrown into mourning over the death of actress Princess Allwell Ademola, who was announced to have suffered a heart attack which led to her death at the age of 43 on Saturday , December 27, 2025. Many actors and actresses took to their respective social media pages to express their shock at her sudden demise.
