Popular Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, professionally known as DJ Cuppy, has revealed one of her plans for the new year.

The daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, via the popular microblogging platform, X formerly known as Twitter, revealed that she is taking a short break from social media.

She explained that the break is as a result of her decision to spend some time with herself, and communicate with her Maker. Cuppy affirmed that she is doing okay, and the break is intended for resetting and reconnecting, promising to be back.

She wrote:
“Never done this before but I’m taking a short break from social media.

I need some quiet time with myself and time being hidden with God. I’m okay and just taking a moment to reset and reconnect.”

I’ll be back.”
