"Not Everyone Around You Wishes You Well" - Ayo Makun Warns Public To Beware Of Fake Friends
Popular Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun, has advised the public on the need to be on the lookout for fake friends in disguise.
The award-winning comedian who was recently honoured with "African Entertainment Award" at The Voice Achievers Award made this known via the popular microblogging platform, X formerly known as Twitter, urging the public to beware of anyone who is a friend, but jumps on any negative news about one for monetization.
He emphasized that not everyone is a true friend, while praying for God's protection against fake friends.
He wrote:
“Beware of anyone who calls you a friend yet rushes to jump on any negative news about you just to trend and gain monetisation. Not everyone around you wishes you well. May God protect us from friends who are truly enemies in disguise. Their karma is never far."
