By Oluwarantimi Oludase

Asa Asika, the manager of Afrobeats star Davido, has revealed that he and the 30BG team have continued in their quest to tour African cities, using the 5ive Alive tour as a template.

Recall that Davido is currently on the African tour of his fifth studio album '5ive' and the singer has toured cities across Africa, including Nigeria.

Shedding light on their plans, Asa Asika, via his Instagram page declared that for the 30BG crew, 2025 is about levelling up to build real touring infrastructure across Africa, stating that they have been establishing the right partnerships to boost these shows, while creating job opportunities in the process. He added that they are still pushing Davido's '5ive' album globally and having fun.

"2025 was about leveling up and building real touring infrastructure across Africa! Establishing the right partnerships to make these shows possible and creating real job opportunities across the continent as a result. All while pushing the album globally and having fun doing it."

Sharing a recent milestone, he revealed that they were able to move over a 100,000 tickets in Nigeria without using Lagos or Abuja yet. He further explained that the goal is to keep touring African cities that have not been visited in years, thereby rebuilding, reconnecting, and changing the approach. He stressed that the move could help inspire other artistes to remember home, and those who made them recognized.

"We moved 100,000+ tickets in Nigeria without touching Lagos or Abuja, and now we're back in African cities we haven't visited in years... rebuilding, reconnecting, and changing the approach. Hopefully this inspires more people to remember where they come from and the people who made them superstars."

According to Asa, touring across Africa is getting bigger, and they are building it gradually.

"Ivory Coast shut it down! Kigali next, then Abuja, Freetown,

Lagos and Cotonou. Touring in Africa is rising, and we're building it in real time.

Una Papa."
