Wumi Toriola And Afeez Owo Reconcile, Following Online Ruckus
Popular Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola, has finally reconciled with her colleague and filmmaker, Afeez Owo, following their fall-out some months ago.
Refreshing your memory, the Nigerian Voice recalls that the beginning of their rift was when Afeez Owo in a viral interview in October, had described Wumi 's roles in movies as a depiction of her true character, adding that she is indeed violent.
Enraged by Afeez 's claim, Wumi, in a now-deleted viral video on her Instagram page, had slammed the veteran actor for making such claims about her, labelling the interview about her as "rubbish."
In a new development, the duo have eventually buried the hatchet during the premiere of Odunlade Adekola's cinematic movie 'Warlord' on Wednesday.
Wumi took the bold step by approaching Afeez, apologizing for her acts, and going on her knees. Accepting her apology, Afeez pulled her up, while they shared a hug.
"I’m sorry, sir. Please forgive me."
