Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi, has claimed that he is currently in possession of the video of the murder of late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad.

Yomi claimed that the video got into his possession during an attempt to extort him, adding that he had previously written to President Tinubu in May 2025, insisting that late Mohbad was murdered.

The actor further claimed that the Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID, in Abuja reviewed Mohbad’s case file and identified key suspects, and now they want to cover it up.

He alleged that the FCID are asking the same suspects to write a petition against him over illegal arrests.

He wrote:
"But now they want to cover it up."
“They are even asking the same suspects to write a petition against me over illegal arrests. This suspect wants to silence me because they want to use the video against you.”
