"There Must Be Something Wrong With You" - Regina Daniels Slams AGN's President, Emeka Rollas, For Stating That She Needs Help
Embattled Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has slammed the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, for stating that she is in need of dire help.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Emeka Rollas, in a lengthy post on his Instagram page on Thursday, called out his colleagues in the entertainment industry for their continued silence over Regina Daniels erratic behaviour.
He further revealed that some of his colleagues have witnessed two incidents involving the actress, yet they have refused to speak up.
Reacting to the statement, Regina Daniels, via her Instagram story, slammed the AGN president, declaring that something is wrong with him for stating that she needs help.
She emphasized that he has no right to talk bad about her family, noting how her mum usually sang his praises, but she begs to differ.
Lambasting him, she stated that he is a disgrace of a president, who pays visits to various offices with the aim of enriching his pockets, hiding under the guise of taking care of the well-being of actors in the process.
Explaining the reason for his bitterness at her, she revealed that he brought women to her home several times to take swimming lessons, which she warned him about.
She wrote:
"AGN president.
Respectfully, there must be something wrong with you, sir! To say I need help? You have no business spewing nonsense about my family, of my mum, who always sang your praises, but I wouldn’t. Because, as an established actor, from childhood to my prime, having witnessed your inauguration in my early years, I say you are a disgrace of a president who visits one office to the other, enriching his pocket in the guise of catering to the well-being of actors.
If not, tell me why you haven’t enforced anything on actors’ protection and residuals in 8 years. The only notable impact on the guild is the office you opened recently, after 7 years, and much criticism from people, which my family were a major sponsor of.
Well, I’m not shocked because that’s how you get paid – bringing women to my family home several times, taking swimming lessons, which I warned you about, hence your bitterness.
Actually, that’s what you’ve always done to the high-profile men you visit to lure them with women, so your pocket can get bigger.
What happened to the fatherly figure I admired solely because of the respect and devotion my mum had for you? I already know, so I can say for a fact that you were paid chicken change to speak nonsense about a child who benefited from nothing under your administration. Instead, I gave you the biggest honour you have through my ex-husband and mother, so you should be thankful to my mother for introducing you to him.
I’m still in awe that you would try to discredit my mother’s election and diminish her efforts after all she has done for you. In support of my mother’s election, I believe she has paid her dues in the industry and would make a perfect figurehead to represent actors.
Take it or leave it.
For a movie industry with the beauty that comes with the understanding of being on screen needs a beautiful female president with advanced male advisors to take us to any level in society."
