Popular Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, has expressed gratitude, as she marks her first birthday as a mother.

The actress who turns 41 today, via her Instagram page, shared stunning photos of herself to commemorate her special day. She noted that it has been 365 days of mind-blowing grace, sharing how she wanted this year to be the year that would leave her saying "what a difference a year can make."

Wishing herself a happy birthday, she declared that she is loved by God; a praise in the earth; and a life that depicts that God's promises will always come to pass.

Additionally, she urged the public to wish her a happy birthday as a first-time mum.

She wrote:
"365 days of mind blowing grace, I started manifesting 2025 to be the kind of year that'll have me saying "what a difference a year can make", I honestly cannot believe the difference between last year, living it up in Spain and now living in my dreams.

Happy birthday Omotoke, you are Loved by God, you are a praise in the earth, your life is a testimony that the promises of God will surely come to pass.

It's my first birthday as a Mom ya'll, say a prayer for me."

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Toke Makinwa took to her Instagram page in the early hours of Thursday, August 28, to announce that she is now a mother, stating that she is happy.

She further appreciated her maker, thanking Him for providing her miracle for her, whom she revealed as Yakira Eliana, Olakitan, lyanuoluwa, Ikeoluwa, Adunola.
