Veteran Nollywood actress, Edochie, has revealed the reason behind her short social media break.

The veteran star, via her Instagram page, shared that she lost a dear one last Sunday, and it became a black Sunday for her.

Noting how she remains grateful despite the pain, she stated that she still whispers that it is well with her soul.

She revealed that she never expected the sad news, however, she is grateful to those who took out time to check up on her.

She wrote:
"LAST SUNDAY EVENING TURNED BLACK FOR ME , I LOST A DEAR ONE SO CLOSE TO MY HEART .

EVEN IN PAIN , I WHISPER : IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL .

THIS WASN'T SEEN COMING .
I CAN'T THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH WHO CALLED AND SENT MESSAGES TO KNOW WHY I HAVE NOT BEEN POSTING .
