"Infidelity In African Men Is A Generational Pattern" - Actress Bimbo Akintola Claims
Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola, has credited the infidelity in African Men to a generational pattern.
Speaking in a recent interview with her colleague, Ayo Adesanya, Bimbo claimed that majority of African Men cheat, placing it at a high percent of 90.
She noted that the act of infidelity was transferred and copied from fathers, who took their children to their girlfriend's place.
She wrote:
"I don’t know where this idea of fidelity in Africa came from. Your father cheats, your grandfather cheated, my father has two wives.
“I can’t tell you whether to stay or leave but you leave this one and move to the next one, you still have the same issue. They all cheat, 90 percent of them cheat, it’s engraved in them.
“I know you might want to change them but I hear characters are fully formed when you’re seven years old. Some of them started by following their daddy to girlfriends’ house.
“I’m not excusing it don’t get me wrong, I am just being realistic when it comes to these kinds of situations."
