"I Don't See The Need To Prove Myself To Anybody" - Ayra Starr
Popular Nigerian singer, Oyinkonsola Aderigbigbe, best known as Ayra Starr, has stressed that she has moved past looking for public validation.
The 'Hot Body' crooner made the bold claim during a recent interview with BBC Radio 1xtra, London, stating that she doesn't see the need to prove anything to anyone.
She shared that she released her latest song 'Hot Body' because she was convinced that it is the right time, and her body feels better.
She said:
“I’m in a very comfortable place where I don’t see the need to prove myself to anybody other than myself.
“I released my song ‘Hot Body’ because I feel like this is the right time. I’m in the right headspace. I feel good. Right now, my body is better than I have ever felt.
“I didn’t just release it because it sounds good. Look what the hot body can do, that’s exactly how I feel."
