Popular Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, has gone down memory lane on the journey of her acting career with her colleague and close friend, Genevieve Nnaji.

The award-winning actress, took to her Instagram page to share a closed-up photo of herself and Genevieve Nnaji, noting how their journey in the Nigerian movie industry began many years ago as passionate girls with a dream.

She explained that they never imagined the journey ahead, or how the movie industry would gain global recognition.

Expressing her pride and delight, she shared that looking at the growth in the industry, shows her how far they've come, adding that it was a confirmation that they never walked alone.

She wrote:
"When we started in Nollywood all those years ago, we were just passionate girls with a dream. We had no idea the incredible journey ahead or how our industry would grow to touch the entire world. To look around today and see how far we've come... It fills my heart with pride. No matter what, we did not walk alone."
