Brainjotter Mourns The Death Of Late Highlife Musician, Mike Ejeagha
Popular Nigerian comedian, skitmaker, and content creator, Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie, best known as Brain Jotter, is mourning the death of renowned Nigerian highlife musician, Mike Ejeagha, popularly called Gentleman Mike Ejeagha, who passed away at the age of 95.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that the veteran singer reportedly died on Friday evening at the 32 Garrison Hospital in Enugu, following an undisclosed prolonged illness.
His eldest son, Emma Ejeagha, confirmed the sad development on Saturday to newsmen.
Taking to his Instagram page, Brain Jotter shared a video of him and the late singer, stating that the veteran highlife singer made magic 39 years ago, and people danced to it 39 years later.
The skitmaker expressed grief at his death, but takes solace in the fact that his melody lives forever.
"39 years ago, he made magic.
39 years later, we danced to it again.
Now, he rests - but his melody lives forever.
Rest in peace, legend."
Refreshing your memory, Ejeagha was put in the limelight again in 2024, when his1983 track, Ka Esi Le Onye Isi Oche, sparked a viral Gwo gwo ngwo dance challenge on social media platforms, fuelled by skitmaker Brain Jotter.
