‎Popular Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has dismissed reports claiming domestic and physical abuse led to the breakdown of her marriage to her ex-husband.

‎The Nigeria Voice recalls that Biola Bayo, while recently wishing her ex-husband a happy birthday, revealed that they had been separated since April last year, adding that they agreed to co-parent their son amicably.

‎Following her disclosure, rumors circulated suggesting the actress endured physical abuse, which allegedly caused the marital split. Addressing the speculation, Biola Bayo re-edited her Instagram post announcing the divorce, clarifying that neither she nor her ex-husband engaged in any form of physical abuse. She also urged netizens to practice kindness.
