"Nigerian Men See Women As Less Human" - Kate Henshaw
Popular Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw, has revealed that Nigerian men see women as less human.
The movie star in an interview with Arise TV, admitted that God created man first, while noting that the woman was also created from the side of man, not under the man's feet, emphasizing the need for the woman to reign beside the man, not beneath.
She further argued that even "the violence against persons prohibition laws favours men."
She said:
"God first created man, no doubt, but He brought the woman out from the side, and not from under the man’s feet. He created the woman not to be beneath the man but beside, to reign beside him, to be fruitful, multiple and grow together.
“But Nigerian men see women as less human. Even our laws, the violence against persons prohibition laws favours men. A man is allowed to chastise his wife. Why?”
