Popular Nollywood actress Belinda Effah, now known as Grace Chris Bassey, has quit her acting career, and joined the U.S Navy.

‎The former actress made this known via her Instagram page. She revealed that she graduated last week from the U.S Navy, and has now taken the oath as a citizen of the United States of America.

‎She described the journey as one that wasn't easy, but she ensured to carry her roots, faith and her vision in every step of the way.

‎She further emphasized that Nigeria raised her, while America challenged her, and she remains determined.

‎Sharing the video of her graduation ceremony, the former actress captioned it with:

‎Last week, I graduated from U.S. Navy boot camp as a Sailor and took the oath as a citizen of the United States.

‎This journey wasn't easy but I carried my roots, my faith, and my vision every step of the way.
