‎Popular Nigerian lawyer Stan Alieke, has claimed that most women are not ready to leave their toxic marriages.

‎Taking to his Instagram story, he stated that his profession as a lawyer has made him involved in many divorce and family issues, and he has found out that most women are not ready to leave their marriages no matter how toxic it is.

‎He explained that despite the numerous pieces of advice on the dangers of toxic marriages, he has worked on divorce cases involving serial domestic abuse, and the couple decide to opt out saying they have reconciled.

‎Stating an observation, he noted that he is surprised at how boyfriend and girlfriend constantly beat each other up, yet refuse to quit the relationship.

‎He wrote:
‎"As a lawyer who has been involved in a lot of divorce/ family issues, I will tell you that most women are not ready to leave their marriages no matter how toxic it is, so most of you who advise online are wasting your time. We have cases where we will file for divorce for some of them in the middle of the divorce process they will call us to withdraw the case that they have reconciled & it's usually cases involving serial domestic abuses. All it usually takes is one make-up sex.

‎"Btw, we all want your marriage to work but once it has gotten to the extent of constantly beating up each other, it's better you call it quit. Even as the man, if you are constantly triggered by your partner to go physical with her, it's better you quit the marriage so it doesn't get fatal some day. The most intriguing ones are the cases of boyfriend/girlfriend constantly beating up each but are not ready to quit the relationship. I can understand husband & wife but boyfriend & girlfriend?"
