Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has penned an appreciation note to sympathisers who showed concern following the death of her sister-in-law and colleague, Nkechi Nweje.

‎Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported last week that Nollywood was thrown into mourning as veteran actress Nkechi Nweje passed away after a brief illness.

‎Taking to her Instagram page in the early hours of today, Rita Edochie thanked her fans for their support and prayers. She also asked for continued prayers for the Nweje family to bear the loss.

‎Additionally, she stated that details about the burial arrangements would be communicated once finalised by the late actress’s family.
