Nollywood actress Mary Njoku, has thrown a question to popular Nigerian Nollywood Bodies.

The Nigerian movie industry is governed by different bodies including the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, and other Nollywood associations.

Taking to her Instagram story, Mary Njoku questioned the importance of being a member, and the benefits that comes with it. She stated that a budding filmmaker asked her the question, and now she is struggling to give a clear answer.

Mary Njoku wrote on Instagram:
“A budding filmmaker asked me ‘what are the benefits of being part of Nollywood guilds and associations?’ and I am struggling to give a clear answer.

“Can someone help outline the benefits with supporting evidence?”
