Popular Nigerian music director and cinematographer ThankGod Omori Smith, popularly known as TG Omori, is set to return to directing music videos despite his failed kidney transplant.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that TG Omori revealed on social media late last year that one of his kidneys was failing and he received a new one from his only brother. Unfortunately, after the kidney surgery was initially successful, his body rejected it, sparking widespread empathy from netizens.

However, in a viral post on his X handle, the music director shared a photo of himself on a music set and announced his decision to return to directing.

He captioned it with:
“Ok, let’s see if I can still rock this bitch."
