"The Nigerian Educational System Has Accepted Bullying" – Bovi Reveals Reason For Relocating Children Abroad
Popular Nigerian stand-up comedian Bovi Ugboma, widely known as Bovi, has revealed the reason behind relocating his children abroad.
According to him, his kids no longer reside in Nigeria. He noted that they have been attending boarding school in the UK for about two years now.
Explaining the reason for the relocation, he emphasized that the Nigerian educational system has normalized bullying by empowering students to bully their peers.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Uncolored podcast, Bovi said:
“My kids don’t live in the country [Nigeria] anymore. They have been in the UK for two years now. It started by accident, my first son has been there since 2021 in boarding house.
“I went to boarding school in Nigeria and it made me street-smart. So I decided that my kid needs to go to boarding but not in Nigeria because the educational system has accepted bullying by empowering students to bully their fellow students in the name of senior students disciplining their juniors.”
